Katy Perry responds to Lane Kiffin, supports Matt Corral for Heisman; Lane springing for corn dogs?

Katy Perry - seen here with fellow American Idol judges Lionel Richie, left, and Luke Bryan - is all in on the Ole Miss Rebels this season.

It looks like Lane Kiffin is on the hook for some corn dogs.

The Ole Miss coach is living his best life this week.

Just days after having some fun with Big Ten officials during the Rebels’ opening-season win against Louisville, then delivering a playful jab at LSU’s Ed Orgeron, Kiffin has another fan jumping on the Lane Train.

Singer Katy Perry responded to Kiffin’s tweet on Thursday and supported Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral’s Heisman Trophy campaign in the process.

Perry is an honorary member of college football lore thanks to her 2014 visit to Oxford and appearance on ESPN’s “College GameDay” ahead of the Alabama-Ole Miss game. Perry took a shot at LSU by bringing corn dogs for the LSU-Auburn game pick.

Perry’s Heisman pick is off to a fast start. Corral was 22-of-32 for 381 yards in the 43-24 win.
