Marvel Comics creators and horror movie stars in costume will be at two fan events to be held at Ontario Convention Center in the coming months.

Comic Con Revolution will return to the 225,000-square-foot venue Dec. 18-19 after postponing its 2020 edition due to the coronavirus pandemic. CreepIE Con is a horror convention that will take place Feb. 5-6, closer to Valentine’s Day than Halloween.

Artist and writer John Cassaday will be at Comic Con Revolution. Cassaday’s credits include the Disney+ series “WandaVision” and Marvel’s “Astonishing X-Men” and “Star Wars” comic books.

Writer and novelist Chris Claremont, whose credits include “The Uncanny X-Men,” will also make an appearance.

The lineup also includes Lou Ferrigno, star of TV’s “The Incredible Hulk”; Sam J. Jones, who played the title role in the 1980 movie “Flash Gordon”; voice artists Susan Eisenberg and Jessie Fowler; and pro wrestlers Brian Cage and Sammy Guevara.

Tickets are $45-$129 for adults; $20-$35 for teens age 13-17.

The convention center is at 2000 E. Convention Center Way, near Ontario International Airport.

Similar conventions continue to be impacted by the pandemic. San Diego Comic-Con was held virtually in July, but is holding a “special edition” Nov. 26-28 at the San Diego Convention Center. Also, a San Diego Comic-Con Museum will open Nov. 26 in Balboa Park and is trying to race $20,000 for a paint job, according to its GoFundMe campaign.

WonderCon, usually held in Anaheim, went virtual in March.

Los Angeles Comic Con is planned for Dec. 3-5.
