A Panhandle man recently exposed himself at a laundromat.

47 year-old Adam Moreno has been charged with a Class 2 Misdemeanor for indecent exposure at the Gering Laundromat to a teenage girl.

According to court records, Moreno is accused of sitting inside the laundromat exposing himself. The girl observed him looking up and smiling at her when she went outside.

The teen's mother called Gering police.

"Laundromat's are a lot of times a place where perverted people are," the teen's father said. "It was just a freak accident that my ex-wife and daughter had to go there because their washer was out. My daughter's really intelligent and she felt someone watching her. She just kind of kept on eye on him. He wasn't doing anything at first, but he was just staring at her endlessly. And then that's when she noticed what he did. He started waving it [genitals] at her. She was smart and immediately told her Mom to run. As soon as they got to the car, he came out by them and tried to say something. My daughter got a snip it video of him outside while he was trying to come up toward them. Our focus right now I think is, this guy is still out there. There's still a risk to the community and there is no surveillance cameras."

Moreno will appear in court on Sept. 10.
