Barcelona are also said to be interested in €30M rated 19-year-old rising star Karim Adeyemi.

With the likes of Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konaté, Harvey Elliott, and Curtis Jones being added to the mix at Liverpool over the past two seasons there are already the first signs of the club preparing to rebuild a side that won the Premier League and Champions League.

In the coming seasons, though, new names will have to be added to that list. And according to a report from Transfermarkt’s Manuel Veth today claiming multiple sources, one of those names could be the €30M rated 19-year-old Salzburg forward Karim Adeyemi.

Liverpool are said to rate the Munich-born Adeyemi, who joined Salzburg in 2018 at the age of 16 after spending time in the academies of Forstenried, Bayern Munich, and Uterhaching, highly enough that a January move for the attacker could now be on the cards.

The Reds aren’t the only ones said to be interested, though, with Barcelona also rumoured to be considering a January move for the player while Bundesliga heavy hitters Bayern and Borussia Dortmund monitor the situation and consider whether they should swoop.

Given the Salzburg to Leipzig pipeline, it would also be foolish to count out a move up the Red Bull ladder as an obvious potential next step for Adeyemi, who turns 20 in January and has already managed 17 goals in 59 appearances for the Austrian club.
