A police chopper had some excellent eyes up in the air as they spotted a suspect hiding on top of a garage roof.
A video from Michigan state police shows Trooper Two scanning the area, searching for a suspect when they finally catch him hiding on a roof's garage.
The video states that the suspect fled from a scene where shots were fired. In the video, you can see the chopper spotted the suspect as he was lying down on top of the roof. Moments later, several officers and canine units approach the garage where he is hiding to take him into custody.
The video then shows the suspect as he begins to climb down the roof surrounded by police officers.
"The suspect was taken into custody without incident," MSP reported.
Michigan State Police tweeted about the entire ordeal and included the video from the police chopper. They wrote:
"Here is another example of the great work being done by MSP Aviation, MSP Canine and Detroit Police officers to help stop violent crime in the city of Detroit."
One Twitter user responded to MSP's tweet praising the Air Troops.
"Even with binoculars or zoom scope, that's *very* impressive subject-spotting. Strong work, Air Troops"
