A hectic and extraordinary transfer window has finally come to a close. The teams now have the final squad with which they will have to work for the season. With the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga now settled, Real Madrid could concentrate more on on-field performances. Although they couldn’t land their dream transfer of the PSG starlet, they still managed a brilliant piece of business by acquiring French wonder kid Eduardo Camavinga. Before Camavinga’s signing, Real Madrid also brought Alaba for free and welcomed Bale from his loan.

The 2021/22 season is going to be exciting for Real Madrid fans. There are a lot of reasons to believe this. Firstly, a change in managerial staff ensures the team would have a different style of play, which would be exciting for the fans to watch. From the early signs of the season, we can see Ancelotti is implementing more attacking gameplay.

Another significant change has been the incorporation of seemingly non-performing veterans into the squad. The early signs shown by Hazard, Bale, and especially Isco have been encouraging. Moreover, the team looks to have the perfect blend of youth and experience.

To take out the best from this set of players will be a big challenge for Ancelotti. An even massive challenge would be to continue to make them perform for the whole season. The team finds itself in a balanced condition right now. And apart from central defense, all other positions are stacked with options.

Ancelotti could use different sets of formations during the season, depending on that situation’s need. Here we look at the strongest starting XI in three formations that the Italian could use.
