Earlier this week, Emily in Paris star Lily Collins surprised her 23 million Instagram followers by revealing she had gotten married over Labor Day weekend to director and screenwriter Charlie McDowell (who also happens to be actress Mary Steenburgen's son with her first husband, actor Malcom McDowell; Collins, as you may know, is the daughter of rocker Phil Collins). The pair had gotten engaged last September during a road trip through the American Southwest.

The enchanting storybook wedding took place at Colorado's Dunton Hot Springs, a luxury ranch situated in a former 1800s ghost town. In the first of just three Instagram photos shared (apart from which details about the nuptials remain private), Collins wrote, "I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…⁣"

The bride wore custom Ralph Lauren, joining a very select group of individuals for whom the American house has designed wedding gowns, among them Priyanka Chopra and Lauren Bush Lauren (the groom also wore a velvet Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit). Crafted of French Calais-Caudry lace weaved on the Leavers loom, a celebrated 19th-century English invention known for producing the finest patterned lace, the turtleneck gown and hooded cape, which also features Swarovski-beaded flowers and silk organza petals, took more than 200 hours to complete.
