HAA-D TO PLEASE

Erling Haaland incredibly unhappy after netting FIVE goals in three matches as he insists ‘I do not score enough’

ERLING HAALAND isn't happy with his goal return and insists he should be scoring more.

Despite hitting the net five times in his last three games for Norway in World Cup qualification, the 21-year-old doesn't feel he's been clinical enough in front of goal.

The Borussia Dortmund talisman grabbed his second hat-trick for Norway in their 5-1 win over Gibraltar, which took his tally to 12 goals in 15 games for the national team.

A stat that not even football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo could achieve.

It took Paris Saint-Germain star Messi 36 games and Cristiano 34 to score the same amount of international goals that Haaland did in under half as many appearances.

He's also been a menace domestically and scored a phenomenal 41 times in as many games for Dortmund last season.

Although Haaland's the first player under the age of 21 to achieve the incredible feat since Brazilian legend Ronaldo did the same for Barcelona in the 1996/97 season, he doesn't feel it is something to celebrate.

Speaking after the Gibraltar game to licensee TV 2, reported by NRK, the hot-shot made his frustrations known.

"I am approaching an average of one goal every game.

"I personally think that I should have had more goals than matches."

The ex-Red Bull Salzburg star has already notched three goals in three Bundesliga matches this season.

But he could get help from the likes of Cristiano and Bruno Fernandes in his quest for more goals if Manchester United have their way in January.
