Gutierrez went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 9-8 win over Kansas City.
Playing against his former team, the third baseman hit a two-run single in the middle of Baltimore's eighth inning rally. He came around to score on an error. Gutierrez has hit just .222 in 15 games since he was brought up from Triple-A Norfolk on Aug. 24. He's seen playing time with Ramon Urias (upper leg) out since Sunday, though Urias did make a pinch-hitting appearance in Wednesday's contest.
