Flaming Foliage Future Queen & Escort Contest Underway

RENOVO, PA – It’s that time of year again, time to vote for your favorite youngster for the Flaming Foliage Future Queen and Escort contest. This year, five girls and two boys have registered and are looking to get your votes.

The contestants for this year’s contest include: Arabella Eloise Meredith, 4 years old, daughter of Colette & Douglas Meredith of Renovo, PA; Audrey Claire Dorey, 6 years old, daughter of Eva & Keith Dorey of Renovo, PA; Payton Long, 4 years old, daughter of Christine & Russell Long of North Bend, PA; Pauline Bloom, 3 years old, daughter of Mindy & Sebastian Bloom of Renovo, PA; Graciegh May Hyser, 3 years old, daughter of Kayla Pickering & Daniel Hyser of Renovo, PA; Braxton Casper, 4 years old, son of Cheyanne Casper & Spencer Scrimshaw of Renovo, PA and Dakoda Ricker, 3 years old, son of Mary & Thomas Ricker of Renovo, PA.
Voting boxes are out and are located at Scoots Service Center, Lingles Neighborhood Market and Tarantella’s Sudsy Pup in Renovo and in Uncle Joe’s and Momoyo Otsu in Lock Haven.

A quarter equals one vote and contestants get 10 extra votes for each dollar in bills.

Last day to vote is September 25, 2021.

Winners will be announced at the Flaming Foliage Follies on October 2, 2021.
The Future Queen and King along with all the contestants are then invited to take part in the Flaming Foliage Parade held on October 9. For more information please call 570-923-2411.

This year marks the 72nd Pennsylvania State Flaming Foliage Festival which is an annual event that usually runs the second full weekend of October in Renovo. It is a time when many friends and family come back home to visit and enjoy the weekend. The event celebrates nature’s beautiful colors and views and includes arts and crafts, vendors, food, parade on Saturday, Queen’s coronation and more.
