Peloton is making further inroads into apparel.

Today, the interactive fitness platform announced the launch of its private label apparel brand, Peloton Apparel. With the announcement, the company also revealed its debut collection, a fall ’21 range featuring men’s, women’s and gender-neutral looks.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to officially launch Peloton Apparel, a brand that has been influenced by our amazing instructors and at its core is centered around supporting our members,” Peloton VP of apparel Jill Foley said in a statement. “With each collection, we’re offering reliable pieces that support your sweatiest days, your busiest days, your rest days and beyond. Our goal with this brand is to enhance our members’ lifestyles, not just one part of their day.”

For fall ’21, the first-ever Peloton Apparel lineup will feature stylish looks that the company said was wear-tested by members, non-members and instructors doing its workouts. The purpose of this, Peloton stated, was to ensure every product was both high-performing and body-inclusive.

The collection will be made from four fabrics, which have different functionality and benefits.

For instance, Peloton Cadent Fabric is its breathable and moisture-wicking performance stretch jersey, made with a polyester spandex blend and a micro-peached finish. This fabric, Peloton said, was used with ease of motion and moderate compression in mind, and made to be durable for all activities. The range will also feature Peloton Lite Lines Fabric, a performance knit jersey made with a polyester, lyocell and spandex blend, which was created to wick moisture and dry quickly, also featuring a cool touch finish.

Rounding out its material range is Peloton Move Mission Fabric, which the company said is a buttery-soft high gauge nylon spandex interlock that is ideal for high-performance activity, and Peloton Essential Fabric, which is also made with high gauge nylon spandex interlock that is soft, stretchy and features light compression.

The debut Peloton Apparel collection for fall ’21 is available now online via Apparel.onepeloton.com, as well as in select Peloton locations globally. Also, consumers can shop the collection on Facebook and Instagram via @PelotonApparel. Pricing for the lineup ranges from $15 to $118.

Peloton is no stranger to the apparel business, delivering selections in 2014 in response to member demand. Since then, the company has released seasonal and cultural collections with its partners.

In March, Peloton made headlines in the apparel world when it announced it had entered into a partnership with Adidas. A month later, the two companies revealed a collaborative collection executed with a retro aesthetic, vibrant neon hues and inspirational text graphics.
