The Book Revue in Huntington is reopening Friday to give away books.
Long Island's largest independent bookstore recently closed, with its last day in business on Wednesday.
Book Revue owner says he owes his landlord more than $400,000 and can't stay in business.
The store will reopen just for one day to give away the rest of its books free of charge.
