‘The Green Knight’ To Be Screened Today At Reg Lenna

An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, The Green Knight, will be shown at 7 p.m. today at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

The Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Matt Damon in the drama Stillwater on Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. and M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller Old on Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. and Jennifer Hudson as Aretha Franklin in Respect on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. They may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 484-7070 and online at reglenna.com. Vaccinated patrons are not required to wear masks.

The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is located at 116 E. Third St., Jamestown.
