Sign up now for the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas, where the whole family can paddle along Buffalo Bayou, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in support of Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
The 15-mile Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta, presented by Gillman Subaru, travels from West Houston to Allen’s Landing in Downtown. This event marks the 49th year of the longstanding Houston tradition.

Register to race competitively or for fun. Registration includes a t-shirt, lunch, and local brew from St. Arnold Brewing Company. Register now.
Paddlers, ages 12 and up, can participate.
Paddlers, ages 12 to 15, must be accompanied by an adult during the race.
Entry fees do not include a canoe or kayak.
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the top three winners in Teams, Recreational Canoe, Recreational Kayak, and Unlimited Divisions.

The sponsor of the winning team will have the BBP Regatta Cup for one year.
Regatta & Finish Line Fun
The race ends with a free celebration at Allen’s Landing in Downtown starting at 11:30am. Spectators can inspect the colorful boats up-close, enjoy music, and more. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
An awards ceremony will be held at 1pm, and the celebration continues until 2:30pm.

- Registration: $50 per person through Friday, September 17, 2021; $55 per person from Saturday, September 18 through Friday, October 1, 2021; $60 for on-site registration on Saturday, October 2, 2021; $30 for military and students with valid ID. The Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta happens rain or shine. If cancellation does take place due to severe water or weather conditions, all entry fees will support the work of Buffalo Bayou Partnership. Because conditions can change without notice, race information will be provided at the start location by race officials on race day.
