‘The Masked Singer’ Season 6 Baby Costume is Absolutely Terrifying

The Masked Singer BabyFox

Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Masked Singer just unveiled two new Season 6 costumes and one of them is actually horrifying. Babies are usually always really cute and cuddly. This Baby costume is the complete opposite of that. It is the first-ever human character on the U.S. version of the show and hopefully the last.

Once you get a glimpse of Baby, you’ll be singing “Baby, Baby, Baby oh no!” Baby is bound to become the internet’s biggest meme this season. Niecy Nash and Kermit the Frog are the current titleholders for the most meme-worthy moment of the franchise so far. The second Baby steps onto The Masked Singer stage, prepare for Twitter to roast the costume.

Enormous Baby Costume on ‘The Masked Singer’ is Beyond Strange

This isn’t the only Baby mask to mortify The Masked Singer franchise this year. An even creepier Baby will be making its debut on The Masked Singer Australia next week. These costumes are literally going to give viewers nightmares. When I first heard the rumors that the Baby costume was happening, I didn’t want to believe it.

Usually, celebrities wear costumes inspired by animals, food, or inanimate objects. The whole point of The Masked Singer is to disguise the contestant’s human identities and help the judges base their guesses off of clues. This costume is huge, the biggest the show has ever seen. There is no way we’ll be able to focus on anything other than that creepy smile. The hands on this costume are absolutely gigantic.

Whoever is underneath the Baby costume must be a jokester. There is no way this costume would be anyone’s first choice. The only thing that could redeem this bizarre costume is if Baby performs “Baby” by Justin Bieber. Baby is going to have to play with the novelty of the costume. Performing “Bottle Pop” by The Pussycat Dolls or Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby” would be hilarious.

According to TheWrap, Baby is a wildcard costume. This means we will not see them perform right away during the two-night premiere. Baby will make a grand entrance at some point later in the competition. You really will not be able to miss it. Seriously, Baby doesn’t seem like the type of contestant that will make a quiet entrance.

New Jester Costume is Just as Scary

Sticking with the creepy theme, The Jester was also added to the Season 6 lineup. The costume for this one isn’t as huge as Baby. It’s a typical jester costume with pointy shoes. The face is a completely different story. It just looks like something out of American Horror Story.

We fully expect Ken Jeong to guess that Joaquin Phoenix is under the mask. The promo for this costume reveal is really cool. The playing cards theme is a nice touch. There is also probably a huge jokester under this mask too. It would only be fitting for a comedian or funny actor to put on this silly costume.

The Jester costume was revealed by FOX Bet Sportsbook so we are very curious to see if an athlete is under the mask. If Terry Bradshaw, the funnyman of football, didn’t already compete on the show, we would guess that it is him. Gone are the days where celebrities dress as cute bears or butterflies.

As the show enters another season with new twists, the costumes just keep getting more unique. Beach Ball is looking pretty normal now compared to these two new costumes. In addition to these costumes, Mallard, Banana Split, Dalmatian, Cupcake, Queen of Hearts, Bull, and Hamster have all been revealed so far. The colorful Cupcake and Queen of Hearts costumes have been big hits with The Masked Singer fandom so far.

Check out the first night of the two-night premiere on Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
