Oak Ridge NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will be holding its monthly With Hope in Mind support group meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, via Zoom.

The meeting is open to the family members and loved ones of those living with a mental illness and will be facilitated by two trained NAMI leaders. There is no cost to attend.  This will be a full support group meeting.

For more information and to sign up for the meeting contact: namioakridge865@gmail.com or (865) 466-1234.

"Come to where you can be with others that have similar experiences and understand where you are coming from, where you are not judged, where you are accepted unconditionally, where you can learn from others, and others can learn from you, or you can sit quietly and listen, or you can sit quietly and just be," a news release stated.

If you are a caregiver or family member of an individual living with a mental health condition you are welcome to attend. This includes people who live in Oak Ridge, but also people outside of the city, according to a news release.
