NYC Rapper Princess Nokia to perform at Governor’s Ball on 10/24

Princess Nokia will perform at Irving Plaza during NYC’s Governor’s Ball on Sunday, October 24th at 7:00PM. Tickets are general admission only, and range from $35.00-$111.00 dollars.

Princess Nokia is a New York City based rapper who began her career in 2010 when her first song, “Destiny”, was released on Soundcloud. She is known for her experimental approach to R&B music, drawing diverse influences ranging from nu-metal to Queen Latifah.

In 2020 Princess Nokia released two albums, Everything Sucks, which was immediately followed by her fourth studio album, Everything is Beautiful. The albums were released to positive critical reception – Pitchfork describes Everything Sucks as a “locust swarm of angst”, as opposed to Everything is Beautiful which is described as “warm and expansive.”

If you enjoy modern R&B and want to see one of the most experimental artists in the genre perform at New York’s iconic Governor’s Ball, this is a show you won’t want to miss.
