One of the largest collections of McDonald’s memorabilia and Happy Meal toys is going up for auction.
The collection belonged to an Indiana woman who passed away after a battle with cancer.
Anna Marie Lewis reportedly spent much of her life collecting McDonald's items which include happy meal toys, beanie babies and other rare memorabilia from various years.
While her kids said it was hard to watch the collection be given away, they feel good knowing that the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
"I just cried when I saw the auction first go up and fortunately she had the opportunity to let us know what she wanted us to do with it," said Angie Lewis who is the daughter of Anna.
"Originally they wanted to donate the collection to the house - the actual collection to the house - we didn't have the capacity to take the collection," said Ronald McDonald House of Central Indiana Marketing and Communications Manager Adam Lowe.
More than 400 toys are estimated to be part of the collection.
The auction will be open to the public until Saturday.
