U.S. Soccer faces a critical match tonight against a capable opponent as the USMNT braces for a World Cup qualifying matchup against Honduras taking place on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET at Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano with a live TV broadcast on NBC Universo and Paramount Plus.

You can watch USMNT vs. Honduras live for FREE with Paramount+ (free trial) or with fuboTV (free trial).

At the worst possible time, one of the US’s best players - midfielder Weston McKennie - has put his team in a really tough spot after being dismissed by US Soccer and sent back to his Juventus team for willfully breaking strict COVID-19 safety protocols. Injuries to key players make this matchup even more precarious as Sergino Dest (right ankle sprain) and Gio Reyna (right hamstring) won’t play due to injury as the US once again faces the possibility of being on the outside looking in when the 2022 World Cup kicks off in Qatar.
