The Chicago Blackhawks will open up single-game ticket sales on their website Sept. 14 at noon, the team announced Wednesday.

Game plans and special offers can be found at Blackhawks.com/SingleGames. The Hawks will offer presale tickets Sept. 13 to fans who are on the priority access list.

The Hawks open the season Oct. 13 on the road against the Colorado Avalanche. They’ll host the New York Islanders on Oct. 19 in their home opener at the United Center.

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted the Hawks to play to empty seats for all but the final two home games last season. Roughly 3,800 and 3,900 attended those games.

This season, fans will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test before entering the United Center. League and local protocols may impose additional requirements.

The pandemic prevented the Hawks from observing certain milestones such Patrick Kane’s 1,000th game with the usual fanfare, but they’ll make up for it this season.

Kane reached the mark March 9, and the Hawks will celebrate the achievement Oct. 21 before the game against Vancouver, when the Hawks present Kane with a silver stick.

They’ll also welcome back Hawks who have left the game during “Legacy Nights,” including Andrew Shaw (Jan. 13 versus Montreal), Brent Seabrook (Jan. 31 versus Vancouver) and Niklas Hjalmarsson (March 3 versus Edmonton).
