Mancini (oblique) isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Royals, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Mancini will be on the bench for a third consecutive game as he continues to deal with right oblique soreness. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench, but Cedric Mullins will serve as the designated hitter while Ryan McKenna starts in center field.
