Manchester United’s UEFA Youth League campaign will kick off next Tuesday against Young Boys.

The competition provides valuable experience for United’s Under-19s players and the clubs met before in 2018, with the Reds winning 2-1 in the away fixture thanks to goals from Mason Greenwood and Angel Gomes.

Under-23s lead coach Neil Wood will take charge of the team as the Reds look to progress out of a group that also includes Villarreal and Atalanta.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s Under-18s clash with Middlesbrough has been postponed and will now take place next month instead.

The game was due to be shown on MUTV but has now been rearranged for Thursday 7 October, kick off at 12:30 BST.
