The 30-year-old married Evan Haines in 2012, and together the two share two children, Harper, 8, and Dakota, 5. And while some may balk at the idea of being in an open marriage, according to the former TV personality, it's working out swimmingly for her and her husband.

"Evan and my marriage is secure. We’re so happy together and I am grateful to have a partner who loves me unconditionally and is okay with me owning my sexuality as a queer woman," Alexis tells OK!. "The kids are happy and have always known that I identify as bisexual."

"We are a family who values emotional intelligence, being inclusive and being allies to the LGBTQ+ and all marginalized communities so our unconventional marriage didn’t come as a shock to them," the reality star continues. "We are slowly speaking to the kids about these things in an age appropriate manner."

"As far as Kris goes, we started speaking in May and it wasn’t a good fit at the time. We continued speaking over the next several months as friends and then she asked me to dinner to explore this relationship further. I agreed and we had a good connection," Alexis says. "We’re also in an open relationship although I’m not dating anyone outside of her at the moment because I want to explore where this might lead."

As OK! previously reported, Alexis recently opened up about her open marriage and her budding new relationship with Kris, who dated Windham-Burke when she came out as lesbian in December. Kris and the RHOC alum had a short-lived romance and called it quits after less than six months together.

Alexis became a household name during her time on E!'s Pretty Wild. However, once her involvement in the Hollywood burglaries — in which a group of teenagers robbed the homes of Paris Hilton, Megan Fox and Orlando Bloom, just to name a few — came to light on the second day of filming, the show was canceled after one season.

At the time, Alexis was secretly dealing with drug addiction and spent time behind bars. Now, however, she is ten years sober — and candidly speaks about her experiences on her podcast, Recovering From Reality. The mom-of-two also serves as a counselor at Oro House, a rehabilitation center in Malibu, co-founded by her husband.
