Lane Kiffin is on his way back to his team after he missed Monday’s win over Louisville because of a positive case of COVID-19.

The Ole Miss coach shared his latest health update and availability on Wednesday on the SEC coaches media teleconference.

“I have no symptoms. I’m great now,” Kiffin said, and added that it was an unusual week. “I will be back for the game, so I’m excited about that. That was strange, obviously, not being there. Winning and not being in the locker room with the guys was strange, but everything happens for a reason. … I’m not sure (what day I’ll be back), but I’ll be back by Saturday.”

The Rebels return to action on Saturday against Austin Peay in a 7:30 p.m. ET game on SEC Network+/ESPN+
