Kevin Love had a memorable birthday due in part to his fiancée Kate Bock.
The Cavaliers big man turned 33 on Tuesday and was showered with love by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, who shared a number of birthday tributes to him on social media.
“Happy Birthday, fiancé. May your year bring you as much joy as the seafood tower from Bostwicks,” Bock wrote, alongside a snap of Love from a past photoshoot in which he was pictured palming a basketball while lounging on a couch.
Bostwicks Chowder House is a popular seafood spot in the Hamptons, where the couple spends most of their time in the summer months.
Bock and Love, along with their beloved Vizsla dog named Vestry, enjoyed a birthday dinner for the 2016 NBA Champion at Bostwicks on Tuesday. They indulged in the seafood tower Bock mentioned in her birthday tribute, according to posts on her Instagram Story.
Bock also shared a number of photos and videos from the couple’s travels through the years, accompanied by sweet messages about her fiancé.
“Happy Birthday Fiance. I love our riveting FaceTime calls. You’re a very talented model. My favorite winemaker. You’re loved and admired. The most fun person in [Vestry’s] life. You thrive at a rodeo. You clean up real nice. My favorite person. Can’t wait to grow old with you. I love being healthy and active with you. Happy birthday to my American dreamboat,” she wrote in a number of Instagram story posts.
Meanwhile, Love took to his own Instagram story to share a photo of a green-colored East Hampton “Amagansett” hat that Bock gifted him. He tagged the model and added a few red heart emojis.
Love popped the question to Bock in a surprise proposal on her 33rd birthday on Jan. 30. She later announced the exciting news on Instagram alongside black-and-white photos from Love’s proposal.
As previously reported by The Post, the couple met in 2016 after a photoshoot in New York with the same photographer who introduced them.
It’s been a quiet NBA offseason for Love, who’s been at the center of trade rumors for months. Cleveland is in the midst of a major rebuild that doesn’t seem to be a fit for Love.
The five-time All-Star is coming off a down season, in which he averaged 12.2 points (the lowest since his rookie year), 7.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He also dealt with a nagging calf injury that kept him sidelined for much of the season.
Throughout the season, he seemed frustrated with the team’s young core — and let it show when he angrily knocked a ball onto the court for a turnover during an April matchup with the Raptors.
Love was named to Team USA’s 12-man roster for the Tokyo Olympics, but he never made it the Summer Games after dropping out of training camp in July. At the time, Love said that he believed he was not prepared to compete at an Olympic level. Team USA won gold, which would’ve been Love’s second career gold medal.
Love is heading into the third year of his four-year, $120 million contract extension with the Cavs.Â
It remains to be seen where he’ll suit up next if things don’t work out in Cleveland.
