The troubled Chanate Road hospital has been appraised and is now up for bidding. The more than 70-acre property went up for sale yesterday on the online auction site Ten-X, and bidding will be open until November 9th. A newly completed appraisal and a seismic study were released. The Santa Rosa property is valued at $23-million. The new seismic study also showed that less than two-thirds of the property is safe to build housing on.
