Trailer for Joaquin Phoenix's Highly Acclaimed New Film C'MON C'MON
A24 has released the first trailer for Joaquin Phoenix’s most recent film project C’mon C’mon. The movie recently premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, and Phoenix has been getting a lot of praise and acclaim from his performance in the movie. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying his performance in this film is award-worthy. So, if you’re a fan of Phoenix, this is a movie that you’ll have to check out!
Phoenix plays an artist who is left to take care of his precocious young nephew (Woody Norman) and ends up forging an unexpected bond over a cross-country trip. This is a different kind of film for Phoenix as a lot of the stuff that he’s taken on recently has been dark. This film, however, looks like it tells a sweet and heartwarming story.
The movie comes from director Mike Mills (Thumbsucker, Beginners, 20th Century Women), and it will be released in theater in November this year. There’s no exact release date yet, though.
