The scooter may leave fans questioning whether Sandra's character Eve sustained an inhury during the new series.

The two actors were filming on the beach, as they were surrounded by cameramen and crew in new images taken earlier this week.

The Emmy Award-winning actress has played the psychopathic assasin - who becomes obssessed with Sandra's MI6 agent Eve.

Speaking to NBC, she admitted she has been feeling emotional about the show coming to an end saying: 'I had a little moment where I saw the clapperboard and I had a kind of lump in my throat.'

When asked if she's already mourning the loss of her iconic character, Jodie answered: 'Not yet, because I cannot let myself. I have two months left [of filming]

'It is like a marathon,' she explained. 'If you are at the start you cannot think of the finish.'

'We have definitely got off to an exciting start,' Jodie said. 'I think now, because we know it's the final season they are definitely pushing bounadies especially with Villanelle.'

She continued: 'Where we open with her [Villanelle] is totally bonkers and brilliant. I hope people finally enjoy it when it hits the screen."

It was revealed in March that Killing Eve's much-anticipated fourth season will air on television next year.

It comes after the season three finale drove viewers wild when Villanelle and Eve stood back-to-back on London Bridge and agreed to walk away and 'never look back'.

However, in the final moments of the episode both Villanelle and Eve turned back around to look at each other - suggesting the two characters might end up together.

The promise of a future relationship delighted fans, who begged for the next series to start with the two characters together.

The episode also tied up loose ends of the series, including revealing Konstantin as Kenny's apparent killer. Security footage showed Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) arriving at the office and meeting with Kenny (Sean Delaney) hours before his death.

Armed with the footage, Carolyn confronted Konstantin, with Paul (Steve Pemberton), Eve and Villanelle also in attendance.

She came close to killing Konstantin but instead killed Paul, who was working for both MI6 and The Twelve. Konstantin, who had planned to leave to Cuba, left but Villanelle decided not to follow.

The episode also saw Villanelle being rejected by Carolyn after she said she was ready to become an MI6 agent. Carolyn responded: 'What use are you to me… to anyone?,' referring to the assassin's desire not to kill any more.
