Congratulations to Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell, who are now married!
The Emily In Paris star and McDowell were married over the weekend (September 4, 2021) at a Hot Springs retreat in Colorado, in a beautiful outdoor venue complete with waterfalls, rocks, trees evoking an Autumnal and alpine vibe.
Sharing photos of the special day with her 23.6 million followers, Collins was clearly still flying high in the aftermath of the ceremony, writing: 'I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…'
The stunning photographs show Collins and McDowell sharing a kiss and gazing at each other in front of a waterfall backdrop.
Collins' wedding dress is on full display in the photo. The custom-made gown by Ralph Lauren - one of the few the fashion brand has created, along with a gown for Priyanka Chopra in 2018 - features a high neck, long sleeves with sheer fabric, a short but flowing train and a whole lot of ivory lace.
A second photo shared by the 32-year-old shows that the gown also came with a traditional hooded flowing lace veil:
Describing the ceremony as a 'fairytale' - which with the hood and waterfall, we're seriously comprehending the concept - Collins said she'll 'never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…'
Collins and McDowell - who is a director and screeenwriter and, like Lily (whose father is Phil Collins) knows all too well about being the offspring of someone famous as the son of actors Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen - became engaged in September 2020.

Taking to his Instagram, McDowell also shared photos and his immediate memories from the day, crediting his new wife, writing: 'I married the most generous, thoughtful, and beautiful person I’ve ever known.'

The wedding comes weeks after Collins wrapped filming on the anticipated second season of Emily In Paris in the French capital. Her co-star Ashley Park was seemingly at the wedding of her colleague and friend sharing the wedding photos to her Instagram Story and writing that she had a 'magical weekend celebrating the love of these magical humans'.
