Drug trafficking arrests made in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY — Following a motor vehicle stop on Tuesday, Tewksbury Police arrested two individuals in the area of Andover Street and Highwood Drive on drug trafficking charges.

Maxine Parmenter, of Winchedon, was arrested for trafficking class A (fentanyl) over 10 grams, possession of class b (buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film) subsequent offense, and operating with a suspended license (for OUI).

Police also arrested Aaron Robbins, of Marlboro, for trafficking class a (fentanyl), possession of class b (buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film), and OUI drugs.

According to police, officers observed an erratic operator at approximately 1:08 a.m., which led to the motor vehicle stop. Upon further investigation, they seized 54 grams of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Police said both individuals were placed in custody without incident.

Parmenter and Robbins appeared in Lowell District Court on Tuesday.

Parmenter is slated to return on Oct. 5. She was held on $2,000 cash bail and $20,000 bond.

Robbins’ hearing was continued to Oct. 5 on probable cause. He was held on $20,000 surety and $2,000 cash.
