He took another opportunity to shine last weekend, scoring twice in England's 4-0 victory over Andorra and showing why he had so many suitors during the summer transfer window.
And according to The Times, Jesse Lingard - who has thought to have turned down a new contract at United - had up to six Premier League club's wanting his signature during the summer.
The player scored nine times in 16 appearances for former United boss David Moyes whilst on loan at West Ham last season and is said to be frustrated at his opportunities playing for his boyhood club limited. Despite an impressive pre-season, he has only played four minutes of the Red Devils three opening games, coming on as a late substitute away to Southampton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer views Lingard as a squad player who can contribute in cup competitions but as he enters his prime years, is adamant he wants regular football.
Indeed, West Ham were one of the six who were told the Warrington born midfielder was not for sale. Everton held a firm interest on the player along with Aston Villa, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur as well as two more Premier League sides.
Now it looks like 'J-Lingz' will choose to run his contract down, allowing the player to leave on a free transfer at the end of this current season.

Excitement has been through the roof at United with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club but the reality is that its another player ahead of Lingard in the pecking order at Old Trafford. Solskjaer prefers Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood who has further emerged as a hot prospect going forward with an outstanding start to the season.
It remains to be seen if Solskjaer will use Lingard more following his impressive England display or if one of those six club's come calling once more when the window re-opens in January.
