Texas Rangers catcher Yohel Pozo is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Pozo served as the Rangers' designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored on Monday in a win over the Los Angeles Angels. The rookie is out of Tuesday's lineup as the Rangers are playing in a National League park and therefore without a DH.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Rangers have an implied total of 3.9 runs on Tuesday. Gallen is registering a 26.7 strikeout percentage and a 10.3 walk percentage this season, with a 3.79 xERA and a .298 xwOBA. Pozo is averaging 6.2 FanDuel points per game to begin his career.
