Man identified after being hit, killed by object sticking out of trailer

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A man who was struck by an object sticking up from a trailer while walking along Interstate 40 has been identified as 34-year-old Kip Keith, from Bethany, Oklahoma.

Keith was walking along the I-40 shoulder of a one-lane construction zone near Okemah when a vehicle pulling a trailer passed him.
The trailer had something sticking up out of it, and it struck Keith as it drove by.
Keith was pronounced dead at the scene.
