Jennifer Aniston Allegedly Ate This Salad Every Day on the Set of 'Friends'

So it’s got to be good.

It might not come as a surprise that American icon Jennifer Anison loves a good salad, but it is a bit shocking to find out she ate the same salad, day after day, for 10 years as the show ran.

In fact, if you've ever looked at the barely-aged Friends cast and thought, "What's in the water over at the Central Perk?," we might just have the answer for you. As some sources have shared, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Aniston all got together for lunch every afternoon during the filming of the 10-season series, and every day Aniston would bring a salad for them to share. It wasn't always the same exact dish, but from what we have heard, the basic staples included: bulgur, red onion, cucumber, and feta.

But here's the biggest twist of all: This salad did not have any dressing.

No oil, no vinegar, no lemon juice — nothing. After wondering how any salad sans-dressing could be tasty enough to eat consistently for a decade, I decided to try it for myself. Bulgur, by the way, is not the easiest ingredient to track down, but it was much tastier and fluffier than the quinoa-adjacent flavor I was expecting.

I quickly found that the main flavor boosters of this salad came in the form of freshly chopped mint and parsley, while chickpeas and bulgur offered heartiness. Feta and pistachios added just enough salt so you didn't miss the dressing. With just eight ingredients, this salad comes together in no time. I made a very large portion of it, and kept eating it happily every day for lunch until it ran out. Day after day, it was still a meal I looked forward to, and that doesn't happen too often.

Of course, this information could be a rumor after all, but if there's a chance the folklore is true, we bet you'll also want in on Aniston's secret.
