“Hurricane” debuts at No. 1 on the ranking dated Sept. 11, giving West his third Streaming Songs No. 1; the chart began in 2013.
West’s previous rulers both came in 2018. “All Mine” led for one week (June 16, 2018), followed by Lil Pump collaboration “I Love It” for two frames in September 2018. Since then, West had risen as high as No. 2 with “Follow God” in November 2019.
“Hurricane” reigns with 29 million U.S. streams in the Aug. 27-Sept. 2 tracking period, according to MRC Data.
“Hurricane” leads a slew of West songs on the Sept. 11 chart, with seven of the top 10 coming from new album Donda. That’s the most West has sent into Streaming Songs’ top 10 in a single week, besting the four that reached that level from 2019’s Jesus Is King toward the Nov. 9, 2019, survey.
West now boasts 22 top 10s on Streaming Songs, tying him with J. Cole for the fourth most in chart history. Drake leads all acts with 53.

In all, 22 songs from Donda hit Streaming Songs, tying West for the second-most simultaneous entries in the chart’s history, alongside Drake’s 22-song onslaught upon the second week of 2018 album Scorpion (July 21, 2018). The all-time leader is the first frame for Scorpion, with 28 (July 14, 2018). West is also just the second act to land 20 or more appearances on the chart at once; Drake had done so four times (and seems poised to accomplish the feat toward the Sept. 18-dated survey following the release of Certified Lover Boy on Sept. 3).
Concurrently, two Donda songs reach the multi-metric Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, led by “Hurricane” at No. 6 and followed by “Jail” at No. 10.
Donda itself, as previously reported, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 309,000 equivalent album units earned.
