LINCOLN, Neb. —
Nebraska gas prices have fallen two cents per gallon in the past week, averaging around $2.99 per gallon.

According to Gas Buddy, gas prices in Nebraska are unchanged versus a month ago and stand 87.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The lowest price in the state today is $2.67 per gallon.
The national average has fallen $0.40 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.17.
The head of petroleum analysis for Gas Buddy says gas prices will soon begin a seasonal downturn.

Gas Buddy says that by Halloween, the national average could be back under $3 per gallon.
