27-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash near 47th Avenue

FEDERAL WAY, WA (September 7, 2021) – A 27-year-old man lost his life Thursday evening after a tow-truck collision on 320th Street.

The tragic crash took place shortly before 7:00 p.m., on September 2, on the 4300 block of SW 320th Street.

According to WSP, a 24-year-old man driving a tow-truck west on SW 320th Street made a left turn and struck a two-door sedan traveling eastbound.

Due to the impact of the collision, the sedan driver died on the scene. At this time, officers withheld the victim’s identity until his next of kin are notified.

Meanwhile, the tow-truck driver remained unharmed.

Furthermore, the WSP closed off the area for a few hours for cleanup and investigation.

Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation into the tow-truck collision on 320th Street remains ongoing.
