Bobby Bones gets sent several items and songs to his studio. New artists want him to listen to their music in hopes it gets played or they get brought on The Bobby Bones Show to perform it. So when something sticks out, it's definitely a big deal.
New artist Aaron Goodvin released a song called "Lonely Drum" and he sent a framed poster to the studio with a clever pitch. He wanted Bones to play the song in his upbeat Friday Morning Dance Party that happens twice a day every Friday. The poster as seen below says "For Your Consideration. Friday Morning Dance Party. Aaron Goodvin 'Lonely Drum.'" The poster features a photo of Goodvin and also notes that the song is Double Platinum Canadian country radio smash, has 27+ million streams, and is a global line dance sensation.
Bones listened to the song during the morning show and really loved it. He made a promise to Goodvin that he will play the song during the next Friday Morning Dance Party and he will reach out.
