Trevor Moore cause of death revealed: The Whitest Kids U Know star ‘fell to his death from upstairs balcony’
THE unexpected death of actor and comedian Trevor Moore appears to be the result of a sharp fall from his balcony.
On August 7, the 41-year-old comedian was found in the backyard of his Los Angeles home by his wife, Aimee Carlson.
Following a 2.39am 911 call from carlson, paramedics arrived and were unable to resuscitate Moore.
As reported by TMZ, Moore sustained head trauma, indicating a fall from the balcony above.
Case details on the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s website confirm that Moore was found in his yard.
As previously confirmed to The Sun, a source close to the star’s family shared that he would be laid to rest in a private service.
An initial autopsy was inconclusive about the cause of Moore’s death. According to the LA County Medical Examiner’s office, an official statement on the case has been “deferred, pending additional investigation.”
The cause of death is expected to be determined and announced when the medical examiner’s office has successfully concluded all additional evaluations.
There is currently no indication as to whether Moore, a native of New Jersey, jumped intentionally or fell by mistake.
No toxicology report has been released at this time.
Moore was an American comedian, actor, writer, director, and musician.
He was best known as one of the founding members of the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U Know, along with Sam Brown and Zach Cregger.
Their sketch comedy series ran for five seasons on IFC.
