EUGENE — Reigning national champion Baylor is visiting Oregon this fall.
The Ducks host the Bears on Dec. 18 at Matthew Knight Arena. The game was supposed to be played in Las Vegas last season but was canceled due to the pandemic.
Baylor leads the all-time series 2-1, last winning in Waco, Texas on Dec. 21, 2018, and all three meetings happened from 2015-18.
It’s the second nonconference home game announced by a UO opponent for the upcoming season.
Oregon opens the season against Texas Southern on Nov. 9.
Contracted home games against Michigan and Houston are not on this year’s schedule.
The Ducks play in the Maui Invitational fro Nov. 22-24, opening against Chaminade on Nov. 22 (6 p.m. PT, ESPNU) at the Lahaina Civic Center in the first round of the eight-team tournament. UO then plays either Saint Mary’s or Notre Dame on Nov. 23 and Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Houston or Butler in a third game.
