CHESTNUTHILL TWP., Pa. - One person is dead after a vehicle and a motorcycle crashed in the Poconos on Monday.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. Labor Day on Route 209 at Wehr Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township, said the Monroe County coroner.
The motorcycle was going south on 209 and the car was turning left out of a gas station onto 209 north, state police said. The driver of the motorcycle lost control of the bike and crashed into the car, police said.
The motorcyclist, Kayson Calim, 26, from the Bushkill area, died at the scene, state police said.
No one in the car was hurt.
