The Golden State Warriors have one of the best rosters in the Western Conference, especially if five-time All-Star guard Klay Thompson is at full strength.

While that’s quite the question mark, even without him, they should have enough to make some noise in a difficult, top-heavy conference. Despite the enhancements of other teams, the Warriors should be able to contend relatively easily.

The Golden State Warriors have formulated a roster that should be both good this season and well into the future. That said, here are their current strengths.

With Thompson aiming to return to the NBA hardwood for the first time since the 2019 NBA Finals sometime in December, the Warriors should be betting on some more help throughout the season.

Thompson will help create a contending roster, but he’s far from the entire team. With the future core also intact with Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman just 19 and 20, the Warriors have everything to be a great team for the foreseeable future.

For now, their roster has been built to contend. With that in mind, they’ll be depending heavily on their key strengths this coming season. That said, let’s dive into the three strengths Golden State will be able to lean on throughout the year.
