An Oxford man charged in connection to the ongoing Furnas County sex trafficking case has pleaded no contest.
Furnas County Court records said Virgil Eman, 61, pleaded no contest on Friday to failure to report child abuse, a misdemeanor charge that has a max sentence of three months imprisonment, a $500 dollar fine, or both.
Documents said the charge was reduced from negligent child abuse with no injury in exchange.
Court records do not state details about the incident, but they did say it happened sometime in July of 2019.
Records said Eman is scheduled to be sentenced on October 22.
Eman joined several other men involved in the investigation who were found guilty, including the man at the center of it, Billy Quinn.
Quinn was found guilty back in June of 13 total charges, including three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 21.
