(September 28, 2021) “Let’s Dance,” the new single by Diquan Julius, is a song that has an early summer vibe. It’s ideally suited for get togethers like family reunions, weddings, or cookouts. The track has the kind of sound that attracts people to the dance floor -- but then too, the desire for people to get together with family and friends to eat, dance and party transcends seasons, and that is even more true now. So “Let’s Dance” is right on time after what we have been through.

So “Let’s Dance” is right on time after what we have been through.

Julius wrote the song with the intention of encouraging people to leave their worries at door, if only for a few hours. “With this song, I really wanted to shine light onto the darkness that’s overtaken our love of gathering together and having a good time. My intentions are to bring back that feeling of being able to invite a special person out, whether it be your friend or someone you admire, and not have to worry about the restrictions of the pandemic. I want the world to dance together again.”

The song, which can be appealing to the stepper’s set crowd and to folks looking for a fresh, new song to line dance to at the family reunion, finds Julius and his lady finally getting a night on the town after spending far too many days and nights cooped up in the house. A lot of music fans know the feeling. Check out “Let’s Dance” here.
