The All Mighty wanted revenge for last week when RK-Bro defeated himself and MVP, which ended with Orton taking Lashley out with an RKO.

Orton accepted the challenge but stated he would only face Lashley if the WWE Championship was on the line. MVP and Lashley agreed to the terms with the championship bout set for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on Sept. 26.

Lashley and MVP also entered themselves into the Tag Team Turmoil Match.

The Tag Team Turmoil Match was a gauntlet featuring all of the tag teams on Raw including The New Day, The Viking Raiders, Jinder Mahal and Veer, Lucha House Party, T-Bar and Mace, Mustafa Ali and Mansoor, AJ Styles and Omos and Lashley and MVP.

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston of The New Day kicked of the Tag Team Turmoil against Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders. The New Day dawned outfits that paid homage to WWE Hall of Famers Kevin Nash and Scott Hall of the NWO.

The New Day fought valiantly and defeated The Viking Raiders before going onto to also eliminate Jinder Mahal and Veer, Lucha House Party, and T-Bar and Mace. The crafty Woods was able to roll up T-Bar to earn the three count and the surprise victory.

T-Bar and Mace took exception to the lost and brutally assaulted The New Day along with their next opponents in the gauntlet, Ali and Mansoor. T-Bar threw Kingston head first into the steel steps before WWE officials Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce temporarily postponed the Tag Team Turmoil until later in the night.

The New Day returned to defeat Ali and Mansoor but fell to Styles and Omos after Styles nailed Kingston with a Styles Clash.

Styles and Omos then took on the last remaining members of the gauntlet, Lashley and MVP in the main event. The towering Omos got to battle Lashley and was able to throw around the WWE Champion.

Styles performed a Phenomenal Forearm that took out both Lashley and Orton, who was viewing the action with Riddle outside the ring. Omos additionally took out Riddle as Styles got ready for another Phenomenal Forearm inside the ring.

Lashley dodged the attacked and performed a Spear on Styles, which was enough to win the match. Lashley and MVP will challenge RK-Bro for their Raw Tag Team Championships next week on Raw.

The Viper then concluded Raw by knocking Lashley out with an RKO.

Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair defended her title against Nia Jax who was joined by Shayna Baszler at ringside.

Baszler, in a surprise move, distracted Jax during the match. This allowed Flair to perform the Natural Selection and pin Jax to retain her championship.

The Queen was confronted by Alexa Bliss and her doll Lilly on the big screen. Flair denied an invitation to appear on Bliss' talkshow Alexa's Playground, causing Bliss to suddenly appear behind her.

Flair then agreed to a title match against Bliss, which will take place at Extreme Rules.

Other moments from Raw included Sheamus defeating Drew McIntyre to earn a United States Championship match by pulling on McIntyre's tights; McIntyre getting revenge afterwards with a Claymore; Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. defeating Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina; Karrion Kross defeating John Morrison; and Reggie successfully defending his 24/7 Championship against Akira Tozawa.
