Florence Pugh is a beauty queen. As well as treating us to a Y2K makeover with blue dip dye hair and, more recently, dyeing her signature blonde hair to a much darker brunette, Florence is one of the celebrities changing the conversation around skin texture.
While most pre-red carpet pictures are usually accompanied with ring lights and clever angles, in July, Florence’s makeup artist Naoko Scintu shared gorgeous makeup shots that showed her actual skin texture. Seriously, how refreshing?
Now, Florence has gone one step further and shared a selfie without a scrap of makeup on her face.
The low-angled selfie, which she posted on Instagram Stories, shows her bare-faced and with a number of pink rollers dotted around her head and seriously, what a weekday morning mood. Not to mention, the fact that her skin looks incredible.
We’re guessing that the picture was taken while she was getting her hair done ahead of a day of filming. In fact, you can even spot her hairstylist’s hand poking into the shot seemingly placing the hair roller alongside a tissue – a hack, we’re guessing, helps to stop any kinks.
According to IMDb, Florence is currently filming her role as Lib Wright in upcoming movie The Wonder. The website describes it as “a tale of two strangers who transform each other’s lives, a psychological thriller, and a story of love pitted against evil”. Grab the popcorn.
