Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is fresh off winning a gold medal with Team USA alongside Nets forward Kevin Durant. The two have competed against each other for years and although Lillard is one of the game’s best, he has always given Durant his marbles. After seeing a tweet on a Durant workout video claiming that the 33-year-old was over dribbling, Lillard said:
“Everybody doesn’t have the luxury the best player in the world has lol which is why ppl can’t just over dribble. But I get it”
The claim that Durant was over dribbling seemed to boggle Lillard’s head. In essence, the 31-year-old knows that the Nets star can shoot over anybody and standing at 7 feet tall the man can dribble exceptionally well. You aren’t going to find that in many places, and more so, you won’t find that at the level that Durant has taken those parts of his game to.
