Coronation Street's Alina Pop considers shock exit

Coronation Street's Alina and Tyrone are about to call off their wedding as he admits he still has feelings for Fiz.

In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) insists for her and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to get married in Romania.

However, Tyrone doesn't seem to be able to be as excited as she is, particularly when he finds his ex-partner Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) crying over a petition to have their daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) removed from school.

Hearing what's happened at school, Phill (Jamie Kenna) calls on Fiz and suggests a bite to eat. When Tyrone learns the pair are together at the Bistro, he can't contain his jealousy.

Unable to help himself, Tyrone follows the couple. When Phill goes to the bathroom, Tyrone blurts out to Fiz how much he misses her and the girls.

He also tells his ex how much he enjoyed their kiss and how his engagement to Alina was an accident, while Fiz listens with disbelief.

Later on, Tyrone tells Alina that Fiz is thinking of moving away with the girls and he can't possibly go to Romania with her at the moment. Alina can't conceal her disappointment as her dream wedding plans have just been shattered.

In the factory, Michael advises Alina to cut Tyrone some slack as his kids will always come first. Alina tries to be understanding and cancels their trip to Romania, accepting that her future husband's children come first. Tyrone masks his guilt.

In another episode, Fiz calls Tyrone as Hope refuses to go to school. When Alina asserts that once they're married she'll be a firm but fair stepmum, Tyrone can't look Fiz in the eye.

After telling Alina that she hates her for stealing her daddy, a contrite Hope pulls the damaged teddy from her bag, admitting she stole it and she's sorry about the fire. But when Hope apologises for all the other fires she started too, Alina is horrified to realise this wasn't the first time.

At home, Alina is about to learn the ugly truth behind Tyrone's secretive behaviour. He finally admits he wants to get back with Fiz, leaving his fiancée heartbroken and planning her revenge.

Meanwhile, Fiz tells Phill about the kiss, but also that it only made her realise she no longer has feelings for Tyrone. Phill breathes a sigh of relief.

As Alina dumps their couple's shot at the garage with the word 'liar' scrawled across Tyrone's forehead, she ensures Tyrone gets humiliated publicly before climbing in a taxi to leave.

As Fiz and Phill head to the Bistro, a desolate Tyrone changes his mind again and hopes to convince Alina to stay. Having found out that his fiancée is yet to fly, Tyrone races off to find her and implores her to reconsider. When Alina makes out it's over between them, will Tyrone accept this?

Coronation Street airs these scenes in an hour-long episode on Thursday, September 16 at 8pm on ITV.
