PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Philadelphia Phillies apparently have the Milwaukee Brewers' numbers.

Those numbers are five and six.

The Phillies have five wins against no losses in their matchups so far this year, with the fifth win coming on the power of six home runs in a 12-0 shellacking of the Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee Monday afternoon.

The first home run came off the bat of that guy who has carried the Phils so much this year, Bryce Harper, in the first inning.

An inning later, Freddy Galvis did his thing.

Home run number three came in the fourth inning, on the first of Brad Miller's bombs. This one chased Brewers Cy Young Award candidate Brandon Woodruff to the showers.

The fourth homer of the day came on proud again-dad-to-be Andrew McCutchen in what turned out to be a spectacular 8th inning.

The second homer of the inning, and fifth of the game, was the grandest of shots, smashed by former Brewer Jean Segura - his first grand slam, hit in his former home stadium.

Finally, Miller put the Brewers out of their misery in the ninth inning.

All while Zack Wheeler and a pair of relievers allowed no runs and just six hits.

This win not only puts the Phillies just 1.5 games back of Atlanta in the National League East standings.

It gives evidence that if the Phillies win the NL East and get the No. 3 seed in the National League, they can earn their first playoff series win since 2010 by beating a Brewers team that they have dominated this year.

Philadelphia, your Phillies are giving you hope.
