All season long, the overwhelming consensus has seemingly been that the Dodgers will eventually overtake the Giants in the division race.
If it wasn't clear already, San Francisco is just as good of a club, if not better.
With no head-to-head meetings left this season, the Dodgers will have to get a little help the rest of the way. Their deficit is hardly insurmountable — the Giants hold a one-game lead.
But if last weekend's series showed anything, it's the Dodgers winning a ninth straight NL West crown is far from a given.
